Nobody should be surprised by their Azure bill.
CostGuard is a cost management product for teams that run on Azure. It shows what you spend, where cost is growing and where the month will land.
From cost data to a decision.
Cost visibility
See what each subscription and service costs, day by day.
Budget alerts
Set a monthly budget and get an email when spend approaches it.
Cost growth recommendations
Each recommendation shows its amount: the cost increase a growth check found, or the cost of a service that dominates your spend.
Forecasting
See where the month is likely to land while there is still time to change it.
Why we built CostGuard
A cloud bill arrives after the money is spent. By then the only question left is what happened.
The answers are in Azure Cost Management, but turning them into a habit takes exports, spreadsheets and someone with the time to read them.
CostGuard does that work. It imports your cost data, summarises it by day and by service, and turns it into budgets, a month-end forecast and recommendations that show where cost grew.
The cloud should make it easier to build, not harder to budget.
Careful with your data, by design.
CostGuard needs access to your cost data to be useful. These are the rules it follows with it.
-
Read-only by design
CostGuard reads cost and subscription data. It does not create, delete or reconfigure your Azure resources.
-
Your workspace stays separate
Each workspace's data is kept apart from every other, and that separation is enforced on the server, not in the browser.
-
A figure, or an honest gap
When there is not enough cost history for a reliable forecast, CostGuard says so instead of drawing one.
-
Leave when you like
Disconnect a subscription in CostGuard, or remove the role assignment in Azure, whenever you choose.
Built for teams that run on Azure.
CostGuard is for SaaS startups, DevOps engineers and FinOps teams that want to understand their Azure bill without building a cost platform of their own.
